Family Worker

29 hours per week * Term Time + inset * 4 days per week * Permanent
Occasional days to work in the holidays for meetings

From September 2024


This dedicated professional would suit an already experienced pastoral or family worker or someone with other relevant experience looking to develop their skills and expertise.  

Our ideal candidate will:

  • have experience of working with primary aged pupils and their families or have experience of providing pastoral support and guidance
  • have a good understanding of the issues that our families and pupils may encounter
  • be flexible, self-motivated and able to work under their own direction
  • be a team player and play an active role in our pastoral team
  • have designated person safeguarding training and have experience of dealing with child protection cases (training can be provided)
  • be keen to be involved in aspects of wider school life
  • knowledge of CPOMS would be advantageous
